CMI Industrial now offers full-scale production of aeroderivative gas turbine components, with a growing focus on GE LM6000 platforms and similar industrial aero units. We manufacture complex tubular assemblies built to withstand the thermal, pressure, and vibration demands of modern power-generation systems.

Our vertically integrated fabrication, machining, and inspection capabilities allow us to deliver consistently repeatable, tight-tolerance parts that meet or exceed OEM and Tier-1 standards.

What We Build

CMI specializes in the fabrication of tubular, welded, and machined assemblies, including:

  • Ported tubes for sensors, drains, and pressure/temperature monitoring
  • Flanged tubes and elbow assemblies for high-temperature, high-cycle environments
  • Transition tubes and precision bent components
  • Thermocouple and instrumentation manifolds

Each tube can incorporate GTAW welding, 5-axis bending, precision-machined flanges, formed ends, sensor ports, and NDE-ready joint design.

Materials & Processes

We support a wide range of performance alloys used in gas-turbine hot sections and balance-of-plant systems:

  • Stainless Steels: 304, 304L, 316, 321, 347
  • High-temp alloys: Inconel 625, Inconel 718
  • Nickel-based tube assemblies

Processes include:

  • CNC mandrel tube bending (tight-radius, high accuracy)
  • CNC machining of flanges, ports, and end features
  • Precision TIG/GTAW welding with full certification
  • Weld fixture design and production
  • High-accuracy CMM inspection & QC documentation
  • Pressure testing, helium leak testing, and dye-penetrant inspection (NDE)
